At this very moment, I’m busy looking for my next role as a Senior UX Researcher or Manager — and maybe, just maybe, you're the person who can help.
Got a tip, a referral, or a good camping site near the Bay Area? Send them my way.
Over the past 8+ years, I’ve led research that shaped products for millions — from threat detection platforms to online grocery lists. Most recently, I spent four intense, fulfilling years at Malwarebytes, where I was promoted from Senior UX Researcher to Research Manager, leading a team of four and managing research across both consumer and enterprise lines.
One of my proudest projects? A complete redesign of our enterprise platform — from Nebula Classic to Nebula 2.0, built on the foundation of modular architecture and a security posture framework.
On the consumer side, I helped transform a scattered product suite into MB5 — an all-in-one security and privacy app. That journey included early explorations into AI-driven UX with our Security Advisor, which now feels like a precursor to the AI-infused future of our craft.
Earlier in my career, I worked on the Google Ads Rapid Research team (REACH-UX), where I supported multiple product verticals - including AdMob, Google My Business, Discover, and Shopping. The highlight was definitely my time with the Shopping team. We tested everything from search result structures to decision-making modules, to the humble but mighty Shopping List. We even ran in-store research at grocery stores to explore how people actually shop — clipboards and all.
Beyond product work, I care deeply about people and process. At Malwarebytes, I launched and scaled a participatory research program that once brought the company together — and later helped designers run their own studies when our team faced cuts. That story has a bittersweet ending, but I don’t mind telling it. It made me a better leader.
And because I couldn’t help myself, I also built a research dashboard in SQL for the Google Ads team — turning hundreds of recruiting metrics into a self-serve insights tool for UX and PMs.
If you’d like to dive into my thinking, start with From Research to Roadmap — a mixed-methods study that informed our modular platform strategy. Or Personas with Purpose, where I rebuilt our consumer persona model from the ground up. Or Power of Desktop Research, if you geek out on competitor audits as much as I do.
I’m based in Sunnyvale, fueled by espresso and curiosity, and trying to make the internet slightly less confusing, one study at a time.

I love camping, glamping, and just generally being in the woods pretending I’d survive. I binge-watched the last three seasons of Alone and regularly fantasize about signing my friends up — you know, for the prize.
Lately, I’ve been learning judo. It has taught me how to handle conflict gracefully, like the art of defeating someone without ever raising your voice. Honestly, if more arguments ended with a throw and a bow, the world might be a calmer place, or at least more respectful.
Still refining my personal onboarding flow, but the roadmap is looking good.
